This Nettle & Peppermint soap is devoted to the common countryside nettle – a powerful plant that grows in abundance all over Dorset. Known for stinging walkers’ ankles, nettles are packed with skin-strengthening vitamins and minerals (iron, calcium, silica) and have significant astringent, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, supporting people with skin issues like eczema and protecting our cells from damage.
For these bars, we blend an infusion of locally foraged nettle and fresh powdered nettle with organic, plant-based oils, Cornish kaolin, and a fresh herbal blend of Peppermint, Lavender and Rosemary essential oils. The soap is decorated with hand-harvested and dried nettle seeds.
