Named after the Old English word for summer, our reviving Sumor British Floral facial oil is a blooming beautiful blend of British-grown seed oils (Lunaria, Borage, White Poppy) and essential oils (English Lemon Balm and English Lavender). With olive-derived Squalane extract and Vitamin E in the mix, this product is suitable for all skin types.

Lunaria ('Honesty') Seed Oil - a readily absorbed oil full of skin-nourishing, natural peptides and long-chain fatty acids to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and barrier function and protect against dehydration whilst improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
 
Borage Seed Oil - also known as starflower oil, this natural emollient is like good for the skin. It's rich in fatty acids and vitamins E, A, D, and K as well as omega-3. 
 
White Poppy Seed Oil - rich in Vitamin E and Linoleic acid (omega), this oil has been shown to improve skin softness and elasticity.
 
Squalane - this lightweight, hydrating olive-derived extract has a natural composition that matches the skin's sebum. Naturally anti-inflamammatory, it penetrates deep to balance oil production and bring relief to dry skin.
 
English Melissa Essential Oil - also known as Lemon Balm, this oil stimulates cell regeneration and contains caffeic and rosmarinic acid that can protect against UV radiation. 
 
English Lavender Essential Oil - a skin-calming, soothing and rejeuvenating oil with antioxidant properties.

The plants we use in this formulation don't just smell divine and nourish the skin, their blooms are beloved by bees, butterflies, and beauty aficionados alike. The gorgeous Lunaria ('Honesty') seed oil we use is recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society as a 'Bee Friendly' oil crop with a positive impact on the local environment. 
 
The majority of the oils in this blend are of British origin. Buying a bottle, you'll be keeping the beauty miles low, and the carbon footprint small, compared with the vast majority of facial oils on the market.  Used as a replacement for moisturiser, a little bottle of Sumor (30ml) can last many months - some friends say up to a year.
